Beyond Speech Therapy Center does not bill insurance directly and is considered out-of-network with all private insurance plans. This does not mean your insurance will not help cover services. Many families are able to receive partial reimbursement using a Superbill for speech and occupational therapy.

Summit County Funding
If you live in Summit County and your child is on an IEP, you are likely eligible for the Summit County Family Engagement Program.
In 2026, Summit DD is reported to be providing $1000/child toward services. This program usually works as adirect billing reimbursement model, meaning families pay for services upfront and are reimbursed by the county. In some cases, families with financial need may qualify for direct billing, which allows us to bill Summit County DD directly on their behalf. This is a simple process that we are happy to talk families through.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Payment is due at the time of your appointment.

Insurance Reimbursement (Superbill)
A Superbill is a detailed receipt we provide that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Families pay upfront for services and then submit the Superbill to their insurance provider to request partial or full reimbursement.
Payment Information & Superbill Form
Please note: Medicaid plans are not eligible for Superbill reimbursement.
*Insurance coverage and reimbursement are not guaranteed.
A recommendation will be provided following the initial consultation and evaluation. Please use the link below to review communication milestones. If you notice that your child has not met one or more of the milestones, they may benefit from speech-language therapy.
Just give our office a call for a free phone consultation. During the call, we’ll ask a few questions to better understand your child and share our recommendations.
If therapy is recommended, we’ll talk through scheduling options. Because we do not work directly with insurance, many families choose to begin with an informal skills assessment during the initial 1-2 visits which allows us to thoroughly understand strengths and needs and set meaningful goals without a formal written report.
If a standardized assessment with a full written report is preferred or needed, this option is available upon request.
Patients are typically scheduled for a standing, weekly appointment. Sessions are 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the individual’s needs, and may include direct therapy, parent training, and consultation.
We are very flexible and understand that every family and every child is different. For children, therapy is play-based, with the goal of making sessions fun and engaging while thoughtfully working therapy goals into play.
Come as you are — we are here to support regulation first and to tailor therapy based on each client’s needs and each family’s preferences.
If you plan to pay privately, you do not need a physician’s referral. If you plan to seek reimbursement from your insurance company through a superbill, a Physician’s Referral may be required by your insurance company. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company directly to determine exactly what is required for reimbursement.
